Freezer Paper Kite

This project was so fun to make! But, it took me a little while to figure out how to actually get the damn thing in the air. It all boiled down to the tail. The kite itself is light weight and "papery" due to the freezer paper (I thought of using freezer paper myself, thank you very much) so it needs a little weight. A loooooooong thin plastic tail (like 15 feet long. You can cut and tape trash bags together) would have been best, but you know, plastic doesn't really look the best in an article. That's a little blogger truth for ya! I used two long pieces of ribbon and I got it up. Did't get good pictures though, because it was nearly dark by then. Don't get frustrated if yours doest fly on the first try. Play with the tail length and make sure you've got a breezy day, or it really is just hopeless! Good luck! Check out how to make my Freezer paper (coined here) kite from my eHow article here:
