Boy have I been slacking on the Blog! I've been crazy busy meeting deadlines. But, they are behind me, so I'm going to catch up!
Here is a little picture collage I put above my daughter's bunk beds. The frames are all light weight "cheapo's" I got from Ikea. The best part is, they have a thin layer of plexi glass, so they wont break. And, they are super stuck to the wall with 3M double sided sticky tape. The heavy duty kind. I learned this lesson the hard way. I got some "heavy duty" tape from the dollar store, and they kept falling off, a few actually on my daughter! Oops! I had to re-due them, and now they aint goin' nowhere! Earthquake proof!
I covered a few of the frames in the same fabric I used to make the silkscreened wall prints (earlier post) which hang on a near by wall, so everything matches! Really cute. The pictures are antiqued and color faded in iphoto, so the colors don't overpower. I really suggest doing this, or using black and white photos. Color photo's look too "science fair" or "camp project," if that makes sense.
I also used some decorative paper in place of photo's in a couple of frames, just for fun.
